- Awards Festival

In 1983, The Langley Community Music School established an Endowment fund for scholarships and bursaries. Administered by the Vancouver Foundation, the interest generated from this fund enables the School to offer a generous Scholarship and Bursary program to its students. In addition to endowment funds, LCMS receives donations from individuals, anonymous benefactors and corporate supporters.

Sharon Stevenson Career Development Scholarship
Up to $10,000 is awarded annually by the Langley Community Music School to one or more LCMS students who have demonstrated outstanding musical ability, intend to pursue a career as a professional musician, and are planning to attend an accredited post-secondary institution to study music performance.

Music Festival Scholarships
Scholarships recognize excellent achievement and are awarded during the School's annual music festival. Impartial adjudicators determine recipients of the scholarships based on performance during the festival. All scholarships are applied to the student's tuition fees with LCMS unless otherwise designated by the donor. Contact your teacher for more information.
