WESTERN FIDDLERS
The Western Fiddlers meet once each week to prepare lively programs for various community events throughout the year. Fiddlers from the community and LCMS are welcome to join the ensemble and learn Celtic, traditional and Western styles of fiddling. Parent volunteers are required to support the activities of the Fiddlers. Auditions may be required to determine placement in the appropriate level.

ORCHESTRA
Students can develop their skills by learning the basics of ensemble music, the discipline of playing in a section and the requirements of following a conductor. Students from string programs outside of the School are welcome to join and are required to audition to determine placement in the appropriate level. The senior orchestra rehearses on Tuesday evenings, violin ensemble and cello ensemble rehearse on Wednesday evenings.

SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
LCMS is pleased to announce the expansion of its orchestral opportunities for students. The Symphony Orchestra will replace the Senior String Orchestra and will give wind and brass students the opportunity to participate, and all students the chance to play orchestral repertoire in a group setting. All violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, French horn and trombone students are welcome to audition for the orchestra.

JAZZ CHOIR
The LCMS Jazz Choir sings repertoire from Latin to Big Band Jazz. Under the direction of Liana Bob, singers have the opportunity to learn to be a soloist and an ensemble artist while developing the skills to improvise and work with a rhythm section (piano, bass, and drums).

WIND ENSEMBLE
The Wind Ensemble (combinations of mixed or like instruments - flute, recorder, oboe, clarinet, saxopohone, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, and French horn) is designed to provide intermediate and advanced level students enrolled in private lessons at LCMS an opportunity to rehearse and perform a wide variety of chamber repertoire for the wind ensembles. Limited enrollment may be available by audition to students not participating in private lessons at LCMS.
