Private Instruction
We welcome students of all ages and levels of experience to take private lessons in a full range of orchestral and solo instruments as well as voice. Players of all ages and levels of experience can take private lessons in any instrument and voice. Instruction can begin at any time during the year and fees are pro-rated accordingly. Please refer to Individual Instruction for detail.

**NEW** Marimba - with Pasi Gunguwo
Marimba music inspires to identify, explore, and share with participants the cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities that exist in Marimba. Pasi Gunguwo offers an interactive and unique approach of teaching and learning with the fun music traditions of Marimba.

Music Appreciation for Adults
Take an American-European tour of music with Graham Yates. The Music Appreciation for Adults course will introduce you to the distinct national styles of classical music's most important countries. The journey will take participants to Germany, Italy, France, Russia, the USA and Canada and cover the great composers from the Baroque era to the present day. (You may need a vacation after this whirlwind tour!) The lectures will include instructions on what to listen for, musical examples on CD or DVD, open discussions and refreshments.

Adult Ensembles
Adults and seniors can experience the joy of music making by sharing it with others. The Adult Orchestra, Jazz Choir and Symphonic Wind Ensemble offer a musical and social experience for amateur musicians of all ages.

Jazz Choir
The LCMS Jazz Choir sings repertoire from Latin to Big Band Jazz. Under the director of Liana Bob, singers have the opportunity to learn to be a soloist and an ensemble artist while developing the skills to improvise and work with a rhythm section (piano, bass, and drums).

Master Classes
Guest artists are invited to give master classes throughout the year. An excellent professional development opportunity for students and teachers, our master classes are open to the general public to observe.

Guitar Workshop/Class
This is an introductory course for students interested in learning the basics of playing guitar. Class material will include: chord construction, tuning, basic reading, rhythm playing and repertoire. Students will be encouraged to bring their favorite music as we explore a variety of styles ranging from pop/rock to folk. This program is for adults and teens.

Concerts Café Classico
Join Artistic Director Marcel Bergmann for one hour morning concerts in Rose Gellert Hall. Each performance is preceded by a coffee social and educational chat about the composers and their music. Visit our
